Maryland - Two Types of Massage Licensure Status:
1. Licensed Massage Therapist.
2. Registered Massage Practitioner.

DETAILS:
FIRST RENEWAL: The only mandatory requirement is completion of a one-hour Implicit Bias training course.
SECOND and Subsequent Renewals:
> Renewal is October 31st (even years).
> Complete (24) CE's total.
> (3) CE's - Professional Ethics.
> (3) CE's - HIV/Aids or Communicable Disease.
> (2) CE's - diversity, cultural competency, implicit bias.
> Maintain current CPR certificate.
> Use NCBTMB Approved Provider.
> ALL CE's can be taken online.
