Texas Department of Licensing & Regulation requires completion of 12 hours of continuing education each renewal period.
NOTE: HUMAN TRAFFICKING IS NOW MANDATORY FOR LICENSE RENEWAL - The human trafficking training is a separate requirement and does not count towards the 12 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) needed for renewal.
The TDLR recognizes the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB) as an accepted continuing education provider. We offer a wide variety of courses which meet the requirements for Licensure Renewal. OUR COURSES are acceptable because the subject matter is not specific to massage therapy techniques, but instead covers: anatomy & physiology, kinesiology, pathologies, stretching, ethics, HIV/AIDs, Human Trafficking, and medical errors.
